The Path of Knowledge of Salvation_Darrin Episode No. 18

A teacher is not a king, but a king falls

And a student is a slave despite being a king

That student of knowledge and arts attains maturity who does not boast about his wealth, position, and intelligence, nor does he fall into arrogance

It is narrated in the tradition

Whoever teaches a verse of the Book of Allah, he becomes his slave

Whoever teaches someone a verse of the Book of Allah, that person becomes his slave

Imam Shu’bah said

Whoever I listen to and write down four or five hadiths from, I have become his slave until death

There is a saying attributed to Mawla Ali

Whoever teaches me a letter is my master; He can set me free or keep me in slavery.

Such humility and modesty before a teacher was expressed by the great conqueror of history, Murad-e-Rasul Mujaddid, the time of Sultan Muhammad Fatih (may Allah have mercy on him) in front of his teacher Sheikh Shamsuddin Aq

The Sultan himself was a great pious scholar

When Sultan Muhammad Fatih conquered Constantinople, at the time of entering the city, people threw so many rose petals that the roads were filled

His teacher Shamsuddin Aq was with the Sultan

People mistook him for the Sultan because of his white beard and went towards him to shower flowers, then Sheikh Shamsuddin Aq followed the Sultan, who was a young man of 22 years

And pointing to the people, he said, “This is the Sultan.” Sultan Fatih smiled and said, “Go to him and throw flowers at him.” Because I am the Sultan, but he is my teacher. Sultan Fatih used to smile and say, “Don’t think that I am happy that Constantinople was conquered. I am happy that I have lived in the time of Sheikh Shamsuddin Aq and I am his student

What a worthy and excellent student and sultan he was!

The Sultan did not even give the first sermon in Aya Sufya himself, but made his teacher Shams al-Din Aq stand on the pulpit and said
The greatest moment of my life is that my teacher is delivering the sermon in Aya Sufya.

The actions of the Sultan of Sultans, Muhammad Fatih, who lived as a slave after becoming a sultan, should be made imitative by today’s wealthy and intelligent students.
The Sultan used to say that
Being polite and respectful to the teacher is involuntary for me
That is, I love and respect him involuntarily
An Islamic country reaches the pinnacle of glory only when the teacher has a book in his hand with which he spreads knowledge and the Sultan has a sword in his hand with which he spreads justice
Today, there is neither knowledge nor justice, nor a sense of respect and love among the students, nor respect and respect for teachers among the authorities.
A teacher is not a king, but he makes a king
But now they humiliate and disgrace the teachers who become kings
Intellect and wisdom have zero value in religious knowledge, let’s say one percent, but ninety percent of politeness and respect are important!
Your intelligence and wisdom are beaten in the face if it is not expressed in the heart and through the limbs!
